Today"s lesson is about :ENGLISH VOWEL SOUND.ads student the first thing comes to your mind when you hear english vowel sound is :what does it mean;it is a speech sound made with vocal tract open. the first thing you should know is that all english vowel sound are voiced ,they are voiced sound which means that each vowel sound makes a vibration when comes out from your mouth ex:/ei/ /i/ and also the air flow out of our mouth *HOW DO WE SHAPE THE SOUND* first of all we" start with the position of the lips ,our lips can be rounded or spread or relax secondly the position of the tangue , the tongue can be high or low or in the middle .dont forget that mouth is related to the tangue .
